I need to file my clients' T4s, but I don't have a transmitter number. What should I do?

The first time you file T4s with the CRA, you will need to put in the code MM000000 (MM + 6 zeros) into the Transmitter Number field. When the CRA receives your first T4 transmission, they will issue you a new Transmitter Number. When you receive your new CRA Transmitter Number, replace the 'MM000000' code with your new number.
In ProFile, go to the EFILE > Options menu, select T3/FX and click Transmitter to enter the MM000000 code in the Transmitter Number field.
