Why are the Notes in Customer Centre not visible for users with limited access in QuickBooks 2010?

What is happening

When users in previous versions of QuickBooks have selected access in user permission and the company data file is updated to QuickBooks 2010 R1; those users with restrictions cannot view the Notes for Customers in the Customer Centre.  Intuit is aware of the issue.

How to fix this issue

Go to Customer Centre, select a customer, choose the Edit button and view the Notes.  You can also edit and save notes in this window.
