When installing Quicken Home & Business 2010, the Quicken Home Inventory program (classic QHI program) is not automatically installed; you have to install it separately.

Note: The procedures below should apply to all version of each operating system but depending on your parameters, you may have customized some area and may or may not see the same thing as described below.

If uncertain contact your computer manufacturer, your system administrator or Microsoft for assistance.

Using Windows 7 / Windows Vista / Windows XP:

1. Go to the Start pearl (formerly the start button) and click it.
2. Click on Computer (My Computer in Windows XP).
3. Double click on the C:\ drive
4. Double click on Program File
5. Double click on Quicken
6. Find “QuickenHomeInventory.exe”, type is application, in the list and double click on it to install the Quicken Home Inventory program (Classic QHI program). o The exe extension may or may not show depending on your settings in Window.
7. Restart the computer after the Quicken Home Inventory installer has completed.
