How do I manually install Quicken 2010 product updates?
These product updates are applicable for Quicken Cash Manager 2010 and Quicken Home & Business 2010.
If you use online account services (transaction downloads), verify that you have completed all previous online sessions before you update Quicken. To do this:
- From the Online menu, choose Online Centre.
- Click Update/Send.
If your last online session was not complete, you'll see a message that reads: "Your last online session was not completed. Quicken will now try to complete this previous connection. After it is done, you can send your new request." - Click OK to complete your previous connection.
Once the connection is complete, you can continue with your Quicken update.
Follow the steps below to download and install the latest product update for Quicken 2010.
- Click 191119-19121_Canada_R2_Patch.exe to download the update.
- Click Save. Save the update to your Desktop and click Save again.
- To begin installing the update, run or open the update file and follow the on-screen instructions. (You can do this by double clicking the file.)
- If you are running Microsoft® Windows® Vista, browse to where you saved the update file, right-click on the file and select Run as Administrator. Even if you are logged on as the Administrator, you must select this option.
- Restart Quicken.
