To download and apply the update for your QuickTax software:

1. Click qtUpdate_13May2010.exe (Filesize: 15.6 MB) to download the update file and save it to a convenient location on your hard drive. Click Save and Save again to start the download.
2. When the download is finished, locate qtUpdate_13May2010.exe in the directory you selected for the download.
3. Double-click the file to begin the update process and follow the on-screen instructions.
4. When the installation is completed, open QuickTax and check the version number to confirm it was installed correctly. To check the version number, go to the Help menu, and select About QuickTax. The latest version is Version 00.01.61 Build 6016

NOTE: Occasionally, CRA (Canada Revenue Agency) may change a tax form or calculation after the release of our Final Version QuickTax products. To be sure you have the most current information within QuickTax, please look to this site for any product updates before you file your return, or use QuickTax Update.
