QuickTax 2009: Where do I enter the Home Renovation Tax Credit (HRTC)?
When you first start using QuickTax, it it goes through a series of questions (we call this the interview) that in turn helps to customize the program to your personal tax situation. If you aswered "yes" to the questions in the picture below...

...you'll be able to enter your receipts for the HRTC on the Home Renovation Expenses window. This window is automatically displayed for you as you go through the process of entering your tax data.
Tip: If you are running out of boxes to enter your receipts, you can combine the receipts in to one box. For example, if you purchased windows on three different occasions, you could enter the total sum of your windows in to one box. And as always, keep your receipts on hand in case you get audited by the CRA.
What if I answered No to these questions?
You can change the answer to these questions in your Personal Profile (click the Personal Profile tab at the top of the window). You'll find these questions on the second page of your profile.
Enter your Home Renovation Tax Credit receipts on your Schedule 12. QuickTax will then transfer your lump expense for this tax credit on line 368 of your Schedule 1.
